Vierad was born in Bratislava, Slovakia, in 1978 and spent her childhood at the studio of her mother, a ceramic artist. At this early age, she was already fascinated by the creative environment, the atmosphere of the studio and artistic work with shapes, colours and materials. She started her artistic studies at the J. Vydru Academy of Arts in Bratislava and continued them at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna. She also opened her art agency in Vienna. Vierad discovered diving, and this re- ignited her passion for painting. She felt the urge to experience water and the seas and to capture her experiences – a desire that has been closely intertwined with her creative work up until today. In the following ten years, she travelled the world. Since starting her family, Vierad has lived on a horse farm where her studio and gallery are also located.
