Water appears in ever different ways and in ever new forms – silent and shiny like a mirror, moving in gentle ripples or rough waves, turning into solid ice or volatile vapour. Water takes on all colours from white to black and from blue to green, its light and dark shades speak about its depth and about what it conceals below. It is powerful and equally volatile when it evades us in its transparency and we want to grasp it. This complexity fascinates Vierad just like the cycle of water and its DNA that memorises information and traces back its path.
